The Muslim Association of Taranaki was first established in 2006 and is a registered not-for-profit organisation in New Zealand. 

The members of our community come from all parts of the world, united under the banner of Islam and the desire to improve the condition of Muslims in New Plymouth.

The association and community have a wonderful variety of people, each with a unique set of skills and Islamic knowledge required for the establishment of our community.

We are currently located at 185 Smart Road, Hillsborough. It serves as a hub for not just for prayers but for community gatherings and education. We currently have some on-going projects to renovate and upgrade our Centre.
