Madrassa resumes on Sunday 15th February at 10am
Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh!
(Peace be unto you and so may the mercy of Allah and His blessings)
Dear Brothers & Sisters,

The New Plymouth Madrassa (Madrassa-tul- Qira'ah) will resume on Sunday 15th February at 10am (Sharp) - 12pm.

One parent is required to attend the first class of the year to meet the teachers, and to get information about what is planned for the year; discuss any concerns with the teachers; offer suggestions; as well as find out what is expected from children and parents at the Madrassa.

The fee is $70 per year for the first child and $60 for subsequent children. This includes any textbooks your child will need for that year. (Please ensure that the fee is paid on or prior to the commencement of Madrassa on the 15th of February so that your child can receive the textbooks).

For those who are not familiar with our Madrassa, the class includes Quran and Islamic Studies for the Youth and is offered to children aged between 5 - 18 years.

We have a number of volunteers, mothers from the community who run the Madrassa initiative.

Our Sunday Madrassa classes aim to provide a fun, interactive and non-judgemental learning environment for our children to learn their deen, what ever stage they may be at.

We strongly encourage parents to be involved in their childrens Islamic learning, and we are happy to provide support for parents who need guidance as to how they can support their child's learning at Madrassa.

If you would like more information please contact Sister Saba Afzal or send us an email on for more information.

Jazaka Allah
May Allah grant you (goodness)

(farewell) with peace'
